Description
And here we are! Nearly a month after the expo i finally submit my Steampunk Dragon, the newest (and possibly best) part of my costume
Took approximately two weeks to make, mainly because it takes 24 hours for the glue to dry to max strength so i could only do bits at a time
Whoever manages to guess where i got the head from gets.... a llama! (without reading the other comments)
The wings move in and out and the mouth opens and closes, but the mouth wasn't my design, it came with the toy
For those of you who are wondering:
All in all, its made from a very dismantled toy in two parts, bionicle parts, cogs, screws, clock parts, the wings are made from distressed material (spray painted), umbrella parts and cut up coat hangers (and more cogs!) the whole thing was then spray painted, spray painted, spray painted, and dry brushed
Oh yes, and glue. Lots, and lots, and lots of glue
I may submit single photos of it! Apologies if the lighting isn't great, i did have about 5 different lights on it but they're all crap lights so it didn't work too well
Enjoy!
